A Gilded Christmas Moment

Holiday Event Design | Custom Backdrop & Scenic Build

As an extension of the Gilded Gold & Green theme, this custom fireplace backdrop was designed to bring the feeling of an elevated Christmas home into the event.

The vision began with a mood board and a sketch—not only on paper, but directly on the back wall. Seeing the concept move from those initial drawings into a finished installation was a moment of design coming to life.

I built and painted the faux fireplace, including the faux brickwork, creating a dimensional setting that felt warm, polished, and inviting. The finished backdrop became more than a decorative feature; it gave families a place to gather, take photos, and capture memories together.

Every detail was intentional; from the structure itself to the way it carried the larger event theme into a personal, familiar Christmas scene.

From sketch to finished backdrop, the vision became a place for memories to be made.
