Youth Space Refresh | Interior Design & Space Transformation

Made possible through a donation, this project focused on transforming a youth space into an environment where teens could feel welcomed, comfortable, and valued.

With a limited budget and aging carpet in need of replacement, we took a resourceful approach to elevating the space. New flooring provided a fresh foundation, while thoughtfully sourced, economical furnishings and intentional styling helped create a more cohesive, inviting environment. The goal was to move away from a mismatched, makeshift feel and toward a space that felt purposeful, cared for, and designed with its young occupants in mind.

A Personal Note from Terrin

One of the most rewarding, and challenging; parts of this project was installing the new flooring myself. It was hard work, but watching the transformation take shape with every section I completed made the effort worthwhile. This project reminded me that creativity isn't always about having more resources. Sometimes, it's about making the most of what you have to create something better for someone else.
