A Quiet refresh.

Residential Interior Design | Living Room Redesign

Sometimes a room doesn't need to start over. It needs someone who knows how to see its potential.

The client had previously invested in designing this living space, but the finished result hadn't quite captured the warmth and sense of home she envisioned. She wanted a room that felt inviting, comfortable, and reflective of her personal taste.

There was also an important consideration: she wanted to retain her existing sofa, loveseat, and area rug. With a significant investment already made in the space, our approach needed to be both creative and financially intentional.

This project gave us an opportunity to be creative in our listening. Rather than immediately introducing new furnishings, we began with a consultation to understand what the client wanted to feel when she walked into her living room. From there, we developed a mood board that translated her vision into a cohesive design direction.

BINGO! We understood the assignment.

The proposed design introduced the warmth, color, and visual interest the original space was missing while allowing her existing furnishings to remain part of the story. The client embraced the direction and purchased the recommended selections, expanding the project to include new flooring and a media console.

To make the space even more personal, I created custom artwork specifically for the wall above the sofa, giving the room an original finishing touch.

The result was not simply a refreshed living room. It was a space that felt more connected to the client's vision of home.

Our design philosophy: Good design begins with listening. The goal isn't always to replace what exists, but to understand what is missing and make intentional decisions that bring the entire space together.
