Real Estate Staging | Interior Styling & Space Transformation
Built in 1941 and renovated in 2017, this home offered an opportunity to celebrate its original character while embracing the updates that made it suitable for modern living.
The intention behind the staging was to honor the home's refreshed charm and help prospective buyers envision themselves putting down roots in this family-oriented community. The furnishings and accessories were selected to complement the home's character, creating a balance between the warmth of its history and the ease of contemporary living.
One of the most transformative decisions involved a bedroom with deep red walls that had been used as a music studio. I recommended repainting the room in Sherwin-Williams White Duck, a soft, warm neutral. The change brightened the room visually and created a more cohesive flow, allowing prospective buyers to see the space's potential beyond its previous use.
The Art of Knowing What Belongs
Good staging isn't about filling a home with the latest trends. It's about understanding the architecture, respecting the character of the space, and selecting furnishings that feel as though they belong. Too traditional can feel dated; too contemporary can feel disconnected. The intention is to find the balance that allows the home itself to shine.
And the result? SOLD IN ONE DAY!
Perhaps it simply felt like home.
